Eagle moving in for the kill of a rock fish at the left of the picture. Eagles always watched us fishing waiting for a throw back and would swoop down in a flash to grab a easy dinner.

When we stopped on the front side of Glacier Island

We heard  load grunting from the shoreline, as we moved closer to the noise the we discovered the brown color on the  shoreline were seals, about 200

in small clusters. We motored within 100 feet of them.

A group of otters having a social after feeding on what ever it is they eat, shells, crabs etc.

These otters where in open water that was 400 to 600 ft deep. Valdez Arm of PWS

What do a call a group of otters? A herd? A pod?
